Ever since my Sister Kelly went backpacking around South America in early 2003, and then my travels around Australia, my dream has been to discover what the rest of the world had to offer.  Luckily for me I met Mark, and we began to bring together our dreams of traveling around the world.  Not only did Mark and I want to discover the world, we wanted to discover the world in our Land Rover ' Hector' - Hence 'Hectors Adventures'.

During the planning of this once in a lifetime trip, I have also been attending evening classes in Accountancy, and needless to say there has never been enough hours in the day.  

The planning of the trip, as you would expect, has taken over our lives and our living room floor.  When I am not sketching different routes on the world map on the floor I am arranging and attending appointments for the million and 1 injections required for all the places we will be traveling to, but that's enough waffle for now, there are more exciting pages to read!
